Skills and experience you will bring to us as a Security Officer:
- Respect for the authority of base and command officers by promptly and professionally complying with direction from the Security base and command.
- Ability to control access to restricted areas in a professional and courteous manner i.e. age enforcement, back-of-house access, etc.
- Communication skills to work closely with other law enforcement agencies when required to maintain law and order.
- Knowledge to report all irregular activity immediately (safety hazards, violations, criminal activity, sleepers, and panhandlers).
- Ability to work under stressful and time-sensitive requirements.
To be successful as a Security Officer, you’ll need:
- A valid NYS Driver’s License.
- A High School Diploma or Equivalency.
- Ability to obtain and maintain applicable certifications.
